Each week Fred Ruff, (Refuge VFX's supervisor for the work on NBC’s hit show Grimm) brings you a new amazing fantasy creature for Toor to battle or out wit.  Viewers will tune in for a half hour each week to watch another amazing adventure which always results in some really fun computer generated creature FX

Toor shares his survival skills of the dark ages.  Much of which still applies today.  He’s very in tune with his environment, and he can tell if the scratch marks on atree are from a Dragon or a Basilisk. He explains each creature to the viewer step by step as he tracks it.  He risks his life everyday for the satisfaction of helping the people, for the thrill of slaying the creature, and because it usually involes all the wine he can drink.

Toor is not your typical hero. He’s a tall slender man who can barely pick up a two handed sword. Many people take him for a simple nomad and sometimes even the town fool. But make no mistake, his knowledge of these creatures goes deep and he knows how to handle them. He tracks down each creature using his wits and his own scientific observations. In the end, many of these hideous beasts have to perish for mankind to flurish. However, Toor doesn't always get his beast. He’s often happy to escape with his life.
